SECOND PLACE

SECOND PLACE

Meaning.
If one thing takes second place to another, it is considered to be less important and is given less attention than the other thing.

1. Take any past competition’s  final result, it is easier to remember number 1 and so easy to forget who came in second place.

2. Traditionally, after the birth of a firstborn the parents earn a new title in respect to his / her  name and the birth is celebrated from deep down the parents hearts.

3. It is the second place that closely competes with the 1st but won’t get the same attention, accolades and prize.

4. Second place is a substitute to the first and its importance is irrelevant as long as the first is considered doing good.

5. You can empathize with the second placed and say they deserved the victory but nothing can change if those deciding the winner have chosen already.

6. Many times what we choose to give first place is of short term benefit  and we know deep down our hearts that our conscience condemns us.

7. Be it known unto you today that God can never ever take a Second Place and anything you consider or love more than Him becomes an idol and idolatry will take you to hell unless you repent and make Him number 1 in everything you do again.

Romans 11:33-36
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever amen.

Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Give me a preacher, give me a Christian, give me a housewife that’s a Christian, give me a farmer, or a factory worker, that will put God first in everything, I’ll show you a man will be successful in the spite of all the devil can put on him. He seeks God, first.
