Meaning.
A group consisting of two parents and their children living together as a unit.
1. For a family to stay together as a unit, they have to follow guidelines that keep them happy, every member has a responsibility towards keeping the unity and invite God in that family to be a happy happy home: remember the kindergarten song?
2. Parents are not allowed to provoke their children to anger to avoid them getting discouraged.
3. Children are commanded to respect their parents which commandment comes with a promise of long life.
4. A husband is ordered to love the wife like Christ loves the church and gave Himself for it.
5. A wife is ordered to submit to the husband as unto the Lord.
6. Parents are ordered to train up the children in the way they should grow with an assurance they won’t depart from the teaching when they grow up.
7. A father is warned that failure to provide for his family is denying the faith and makes him worse than an infidel.
