Meaning.
To cause something to take longer or to be late.
1. Delay is not in any way the other word for denial.
2. Delay doesn’t mean you will not arrive, it only reminds you to change the Expected Time of Arrival.
3. The year 2020 should not make you believe there is no chance for your business to grow , it is just an example of Delay.
4. Something that Delays only creates time for you to deal with matters that you had no time to look at.
5. If your solution Delays to come allowing the problem to grow bigger, worry not. The bigger the Goliath the better the stone can be directed to his big forehead.
6. If you trusted God to help you in 2020 and it seems not likely to happen, just remember Lazarus came forth out of his grave with bound hands & feet in grave clothes with a napkin covering his face upon hearing Jesus call out his name 4 days after his death. Oh yes he was only loosed outside his grave!!!!
7. Before you get upset or disappointed with Delays, get some understanding: you will soon realise that God Himself and not an angel is delivering a perfect solution to a problem that has been troubling you for a long time just like the man who waited for the angel to stir the water at the pool of Bethsaida for 38 yrs. His problem grew older than the Lord Jesus Christ who was about 34 yrs at the time. Jesus did not look at the size of the problem but he was moved by the continued expectation of the man whose healing saw a 38yr Delay.
Luke 2:26-31 KJV
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
John 5:5-9 KJV
And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked:
“but doesn’t the Scripture say that, “All things work together for good to them that love God”? He knows what He is doing. If He delays, that’s all right. He knows what He is doing”
